Safety & professional standards

Trust is built with clarity.

Warm, person-centered support still needs firm boundaries, careful preparation and honest communication about what is—and is not—being offered.

01

Defined scope

Services and exclusions are written down and reviewed before work begins.

02

Professional boundaries

No borrowing, lending, financial control, large gifts or use of client stories without explicit written consent.

03

Privacy first

Client information and records are handled carefully using secure, purpose-specific systems.

04

Safety planning

Fit screening, emergency contacts, incident documentation and mandatory-reporting responsibilities are addressed before service.

05

Verified coverage

No paying clients until relevant liability and professional coverage is active; transportation only with written insurer confirmation.

06

Honest credentials

Training and certifications are described accurately. No claims of clinical or Oregon licensure unless that exact credential applies.

PSW enrollment is active. Each PSW arrangement must still be properly authorized through the person’s service plan and Employer of Record. Private coaching will begin only when its separate insurance, agreements, screening and safety systems are ready.
