Art Harmony: making space to create, feel and reconnect.

A low-pressure, neurodivergent-affirming approach that uses the creative process as a place for reflection, regulation and self-discovery—not a test of talent or productivity.

Why art matters here

Sometimes healing begins before we have the words.

Art can give shape to an experience that feels tangled, quiet or hard to explain. Color, texture, repetition and play can slow the pace, make room for curiosity and help us notice what is happening inside without demanding a perfect answer.

This work is not about making “good” art. It is about having permission to explore, make choices, follow an instinct and create something that belongs to you.

My connection to this work

I went to art school—and burned out before I understood my AuDHD mind.

I know what it is like for creativity to become tangled with pressure, expectations and exhaustion. As an undiagnosed autistic and ADHD person, I did not yet have the language or support to understand why an environment I cared about could also overwhelm me.

Returning to art with more self-knowledge has changed what making can mean. Art Harmony grows from that lived experience: creativity without performance, curiosity without judgment and space to work with your mind instead of against it.
